The 6th generation of the Yonex VCORE 98 provides spin and speed so you can unleash heavy spin against opponents. The VCORE 98’s new frame design has widened the upper most part of the racquet hoop for extra string movement, forgiveness and power. While delivering a more forgiving VCORE, this generation also features a 3% thinner beam width in the racquet hoop’s upper half to deliver increased racquet head speed. The new frame construction features a transformation (2G-Namd Flex Force) of Namd graphite. The result is a racquet that delivers a lot of feel with plenty of extra flex and snapback for maximum spin potential. Improving string movement and snapback, Yonex has included its unique String Sync Grommets at 12 and 6 o’clock to let the main strings move in sync. Vibration Dampening Mesh in the racquet handle mitigates unwanted vibrations while Aero Trench and Aero Fin Technology continue from previous generations to reduce air resistance. Overall, the 6th generation of the Yonex VCORE 98 continues to deliver a spin friendly racquet but with more power, forgiveness and response to connect players with each shot in the modern game.
